The first thing to preparing your wardrobe for the month ahead, is to look at your calendar. Note your events and the type of look you need for each, ie: Black tie gala, business function, launch party, charity bash, date night, etc. Start your wardrobe planning for big events first. How many gowns, cocktail dresses, theme outfits, and so on, do you need and plan accordingly. After that, dressing for the month will feel seamless!
During these 30 days, you will notice I have different style personalities…..I’m a very moody dresser. I find myself at times, like an actor. Dressing my part. You won’t find me shopping just one or two labels like many do. I don’t like to be labeled. I love designers, but I am an independent fashion buyer. I buy what I love, the brand doesn’t matter. If I buy trendy, it is an economical purchase. Classic pieces, I will shed more money. If I can repurpose clothing, I will. This is a style challenge, not a head buyer for Sak’s challenge. Names will not be dropped. If you wish to inquire about a look, please leave a comment or email.
Joining the fun will be fellow stylist and Stylist’s Syndicate member, Sasha Watson of Di’Vine Styling, covering the NY/NJ area. It will get interesting if the weather cools throughout the month and Sasha can bring you some fall fashion, whereas I will still be sweating it out in Florida.
Get ready, get set, let’s rock this!
