Oh Olivier, you are a freaking master of detail. Detail is the main reason I fall for Balmain every season. Fall/Winter 2016 came correct bringing the heart palpitations! The rose quartz pallette entranced me.
Of course, the black and gold stoled my heart. Just look at the scrumptiousness of it all!
The entire collection was dramatic and feminine, and the structure of many of the short skirts emphasized a small waist and accentuated the hips and derriere. Hmmm…..who does that silhouette remind you of? 😉 Ladies, get your tech necks in shape. High necks and big chokers are what’s up and I love it. Nonetheless, or more, Olivier Rousteing and the Balmain FW16 designs were amazing, per usual.

Spring and Summer 2016 will look pretty fabulous, thanks to Olivier Rousteing, the Creative Director of Balmain. His gorgeous collection was stunning, and again, his attention to detail is astounding. Olivier understands how to design for a woman’s body and enhance her features. Short hemlines, midi, and long, peek-a-boo, bodysuits, and more.
Luxe texture, color, and artistry made Balmain one of my favorites this season. Featured above are a few of my favorite looks. Brava, Olivier. J’adore!

Black and white is a classic, add Balmain and you have chic on chic on chic! This dress is beyond stunning, and my favorite combination. I’d live in black and white if I could! This style of dress is the masterpiece of your look, so keep accessories simple.

Remember, use this look as a guide.
Award shows, charity galas, or any celebration, everyone should be prepared for a VIP AFTER PARTY!
First, retire the flowing gown. Change into something special, easy to move in, and completely swoon-worthy! Second, refresh your make up and hair. Third, a change of shoes is a brilliant idea, your feet will thank you.
You’re good to go for the rest of the night!
Time. To. Strut.

Getting back into creative design mode after traveling for 3 and a half months. It is Gala Season, Holiday Parties, and many Special Events to dress for. These pieces are works in progress, but when finished, will transform any LBD, jumpsuit, or gown you may have into a head turner.
Tweaks needed here and there. Playing with pieces to see what may evolve and keep my eye interested and my soul happy.
It is all about the ‘try’, forget about the ‘why’. The first thing that will sabotage the creative process is putting yourself in a box. Allow your expression to scream out! Some may like it, some may not. Not everything is for everyone. Be true to you, because the first time you curb your talent to bend to someone else’s taste, you lose a bit of yourself.
The extra layer of long black fringe with the silver spikes against it, adds a lot. I think this piece is about done. This was designed specifically for a long black gown.
I design for someone, like myself, who likes to live out loud! Who is not a wallflower, but like my XO Avery tag line states, made for those who “strut life’s runway”. I also like to wear something no one else will have!
All one-of-a-kind accessories.
It can be a timely and complicated process, that is for certain. In the end, only gorgeous looks remain.

Riccardo Tisci gave me a one-two punch of divine white and black creations for Givenchy’s Spring and Summer 2015 Collection.
Darling, it is all in the details. You won’t see detail work like this at the mall. Paris, on the other hand, demands live-out-loud luxe and Riccardo had it screaming in spades! Beautiful pieces that could easily be styled a myriad of ways and look just as fab. These shown above are a few of my favorites. You know I love a dramatic coat. Sashay away!
Oh la la, Givenchy!

Oh Olivier, you must have designed this white number just for me. You know I jadore a dramatic back, and the cape has be gasping. Incredibly chic, elegant, orgasmic.
Balmain’s Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing, delighted with his Spring and Summer 2015 collection. I personally wear much more black and white than I probably should, but I tossed that thinking aside when this line went B&W in a big, fabulous way.
Love love love. These pieces go everywhere the uber style-conscious need.
Just to add a little color hype, Joan Smalls in yellow and black, fascinates. Smoldering. Edgy.
Always a pleasure to see Balmain, one of my ultimate favorites.

The above collage is a small taste of what’s happening in my new online store. I design and create everything in my collection, and it is all one-of-a-kind.
