Olivier Rousteing, Creative Director for the House of Balmain, annihilated the runway during Paris Fashion Week. His Spring 2014 Ready-to-Wear collection was nothing short of stunning. Look after look was immensely impressive; I couldn’t find one design I wouldn’t kill to wear. The classically chic color story of black and white was profound. The French pinks and blues were just enough color to charm the Spring season. But his impeccable use of beading, quilting, hardware and chain-work, knocked me out. You know I love my detail and Olivier delivered ten-fold.
I mean, give me oxygen…I can’t handle anymore! It took me a few hours to come down to earth after viewing this procession of perfection. I honestly had the worst time choosing favorites to post, I wanted to show the entire line!
Balmain Spring 2014 left me speechless, envious, mesmerized, palpitating, coveting.  All I can really say to Olivier Rousteing is, MAGNIFIQUE!

P.S. To Whom It May Concern; My birthday and Christmas are coming up. Balmain wrapped up in a bow would be the ultimate.   😉
