Spring and Summer 2016 will look pretty fabulous, thanks to Olivier Rousteing, the Creative Director of Balmain. His gorgeous collection was stunning, and again, his attention to detail is astounding. Olivier understands how to design for a woman’s body and enhance her features. Short hemlines, midi, and long, peek-a-boo, bodysuits, and more.
Luxe texture, color, and artistry made Balmain one of my favorites this season. Featured above are a few of my favorite looks. Brava, Olivier. J’adore!

Throw away the antiquated rule of never wearing white after Labor Day. Seeing how a large portion of the population dresses anyway, I’m surprised people still are anal about this fashion rule. Take into consideration the region in which you live. I don’t want to wear white pant or shoes during the Winter when streets are sloppy! Wearing white into Fall and Winter depends upon the fabric as well. White linen, no. White denim, yes. I live in Florida the majority of the Fall and Winter seasons, so white denim is perfectly fine. The Northern tier of states, not so much. You’re smart, use your judgement.
White denim easily translates into Fall with the addition of a knit wrap and peep-toe booties. Change up the kicks to Doc Martens or Converse for a cool casual look. Layering is the name of the game for transitioning to a new season. Have fun with your wardrobe, and wear what makes you happy and feel fabulous!
